LITIGATION SERVICES:
A. REMOVAL PROCEEDINGS - The firm will provide legal representation to persons in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court and/or the Board of Immigration Appeals. This includes
persons applying for asylum, adjustment of status, cancellation of removal, and other forms of relief from removal for which he/she may be eligible.
B. MARYLAND STATE COURT - The firm will provide legal representation to persons who need an attorney for cases before the various courts in the State of Maryland. This includes persons
residing in the City of Baltimore and any of the Counties within the State of Maryland.
ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING:
A. ASYLUM PROCESSING - The firm will provide legal representation to persons wishing to apply for asylum before the Citizenship and Immigration Services within one year of arrival in the
United States.
B. ADJUSTMENT OF STATUS - The firm will provide legal representation to persons who have married a lawful permanent resident or citizen of the United States (or have another qualifying
petitioner/relative) who wishes to file a visa petition and/or an application for adjustment of status based on a visa. The firm will also provide legal representation to persons who wish to apply
for adjustment based on their employment in the United States.
C. APPLICATIONS FOR RELIEF AS AN ABUSED SPOUSE - The firm will provide legal representation to persons who have been the victims of a lawful permanent resident or United States citizen spouse
who physically or emotionally abused them or their children in the United States.
MISCELLANEOUS:
WILLS AND LIVING WILLS - The firm will prepare Wills and Living Wills for persons who wish to have them. Everyone over the age of 18 years needs a Living Will to explain who has the right to
make medical decisions for them and what types of medical procedures, if any, they wish to have performed if they are medically incapacitated. Persons who need a will include:
1. Anyone over the age of 18 years;
2. Anyone with a child;
3. Anyone with real estate or a car;
4. Anyone who wants to explain his/her ideas for final rites;
5. Anyone who wants to leave personal items to specific persons.
